[Plugin: Relevanssi] When click in a result link the post don't display images!

Picture doesn’t help much – but seeing the source code would help. I’m guessing the highlighting code is breaking the image code somehow and if you can show me the source code, I can likely fix it.

Yes, as I expected – the highlighting code highlights words inside image url, thus messing up the image. The next version of Relevanssi will fix this, the only quick fix I can give you is to turn off the highlighting in result documents.

As you say, turning off the highlighting in result documents solve the problem. I’m will wait the next version of this splendid plugin!

i checked out your site and everything looks fine. I searched for something, your image showed, AND your text is highlighted. How did you fix it? Thanks in advance!

The highlighting is on in the result list – that’s not a problem – but disabled in the posts – which would cause a problem.

I just finished version 2.4, which will fix the problem with highlighting. The new version should be available from the repository in couple of minutes.

Msaari, I can’t thank you enough for the plugin. There still is an odd glitch however. All the search results become lowercase. This glitch is still nothing compared to what you’ve managed to fix so far, but keep it in mind for perhaps future versions.

If you wish, feel free to test it on my site. Search for anyone in the People page, like Rizzo or Parsons for instance. What you get are the correctly found results, but the names show as “rizzo” and “parsons”, including the page you click to go find the result as well.

Ah, good point —?the new code doesn’t preserve case. Before the code just added the emphasis tags, now it does a complete replacement, including the word, and the word is of course lower case… I’ll have to see how I can fix it, but I’m sure there’s a fix.

I have a fix for the case problem, I’ll release 2.4.1 shortly.
