Uploading WordPress database file from local install

  • Does anybody have any experience uploading a wordpress local install to a server?

    I am having problems… I am running MAMP to create a local environment so wordpress works locally, I have followed the steps set out here:

    And even had a friend explain this to me in a video:

    This all seems to work fine, but when I get to actually importing the data using my eukhost control panel I get an error:

    —
    DROP TABLE IF EXISTS wp_commentmeta ;
    MySQL said:
    #1046 – No database selected

    Perhaps I should get in touch with eukhost? Or could anybody here help me?
