  • Hey there, @abnercalapiz! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Do you mind providing more information so we can investigate this further?

Are the orders made with invalid credit cards going through?

If so, can you share a screenshot of the order information, that would be great.

I’d recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

    Hi,

Ahm nope invalid card can’t place order but our concern is there is no invalid card notification.

Please check my video recording about what i mean https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kf3a3i_nAvvYnvtFA3VBAqnBBa1hD8yW/view?usp=sharing

We want an invalid popup notification or error message if a customer input an invalid card #.

    Regards,

    Hi there @abnercalapiz ??

Thank you for reaching back, clarifying things further.

We are using this plugin and only allow Visa and Mastercard but the problem there is no validation during checkout or no error message if i add an invalid card number or a card is not accepted.

The video is not publicly accessible, I’m afraid.

Nevertheless, I’d recommend enabling Secure Fields, if there appeared no chance to do so already.

In the list of things that change, instant validation of the card fields is possible.

Feel free to check out the related documentation, linked here, for your convenience.

I hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any further questions about this matter, or if we misinterpret your concern in any way. We will be happy to help you further.

Is that mean if we enable Secured Fields from the client eWay account, Instant validation of the card fields is activated?

    Hi @abnercalapiz,

Yes, that’s correct. Enabling Secure Fields in your eWay account should activate the instant validation of the card fields. This means that as your customers input their card details, the system will instantly check and validate the information. If the card details are incorrect or invalid, an error message should be displayed immediately.

This feature helps to improve the user experience by providing immediate feedback, and it can also help to prevent issues with invalid or incorrect card details being submitted.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Hey @abnercalapiz!

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
