Logged-in status out of sync

Hallo,

I’m using?“Simple WP Membership Protection” to control access to pages and posts, by choosing “Yes, Protect this content” and then enabled for all levels.

I’m also using “User Menus – Nav Menu Visibility” to apply visibility controls to menu items e.g., who can see each menu item (everyone, logged out users, logged in users).

And I’m also using “SKT Meditation” theme.

Problem is that being logged in, after a long period of inactivity (maybe half a day), when I get back to my site, “Simple WP Membership Protection” thinks I’m still logged in, while “User Menus – Nav Menu Visibility” thinks I’m logged out! This is very confusing for the site users.

It looks like “Simple WP Membership Protection” has its own logged-in logged-out state administration, separated from the wordpress logged-in logged-out administration (used by User Menus).

Is there a way to bring “Simple Membership” administration in sync with the wordpress administration?
