    Hi all,

Had a question about Jetpack Backups and BlueHost.

I was working for someone who had a WordPress site hosted by BlueHost and we also had backups setup through Jetpack Backup paid edition.

The owner of the website did not sign up for a hosting renewal with BlueHost and the website was taken down and after the hosting period was over and the site and data was deleted according to BlueHost.

My question is – am I still able to use the backups from Jetpack backups to restore the site after re-hosting WordPress? Or is everything gone now?

BlueHost is telling me that everything is gone but I was hoping that the Jetpacks backup were stored separately so those would be able to be used to restore the site once we re-enabled hosting. Is that not the case?

Hope this is enough info! If you need anything else let me know!

    Hi @futuremanhank

In this scenario, we may still have backups depending on if and when the Jetpack VaultPress Backup plan was canceled.

Please contact us via this contact form for assistance. We’ll need to know the domain of the account that had the backup plan.

When you email us, please also reference this thread.
