  • I don’t see that. Maybe you have cache on the checkout page which you shouldn’t. I’d make sure you have that off. Make sure you’re not using Divi cache on that either. Cart and Checkout pages should never have cache on them.

Secondly I see you have Ship to Different Addressed enabled. I advise turning that off by going into your settings and disabling that. It is best practice to set it to force to billing and let the user select if they want to ship to a different address. Not the way you have it now.

    Here’s how to do that

Thank you for your feedback @serafinnyc ! I appreciate your insights. Regarding the cache on the checkout page, I’m currently using the WP-Optimize plugin. Could you guide me on how to ensure that the cache is turned off specifically for the cart and checkout pages within this plugin?

Additionally, I’ll follow your advice on Ship to Different Address settings and make the necessary adjustments.

I’d like to provide additional details about the current issues we’re experiencing:

    1. Customers reports discrepancies in WooCommerce-generated reports( from woocommerce->customer section ), where the data for users appears to be incorrect. However, upon cross-checking the information with the orders tab(from woocommerce->orders) , we find that the data is accurate.
    2. Several customers have expressed concerns about missing addresses from their address book. Despite having previously added extra addresses, these additions are no longer present.

    Hey @aliexpio,

I found the below support article that shows how to exclude specific URLs from being cached with WP Optimize:

Additionally, you can reach out to your host and ask them to make sure that they exclude the Cart and Checkout page from being cached.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello @aliexpio,

Your store is asking to get my location on the checkout page. Is it possible that one of your plugins is altering the shipping behaviour? You can confirm this by leaving only WooCommerce active and switching to the Storefront theme.

Could you also share more details on this part?

It reverted to the billing address only after proceeding to checkout . T

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Thanks @babylon1999
We have conducted the suggested troubleshooting steps by deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Twenty theme. Despite these efforts, we encountered a challenge in pinpointing the issue conclusively, as the problem seems to be occurring sporadically and not consistently with all customers. Specifically, the shipping address reverting to the billing address is not a universal experience.

Additionally, in reference to the report, it appears that the data in the WooCommerce->Customer section was displaying incorrectly for all users. We are actively looking into this discrepancy to ensure accurate reporting.

I understand the frustration of dealing with a problem that isn’t reproducible.

Upon reviewing your responses, I’m not sure if I get the full picture. When you mention the shipping address reverting to the billing address after checkout, do you mean the shipping details are not being posted in the order details?

Could you please provide a few screenshots that illustrate the problem? :?)

Look forward to hearing back from you.

I am having exactly the same problem on my website. It’s as if there is a bug in a plugin update. When I test it myself the delivery address updates correctly, the same with many other customers. But, some customers report that their orders have reverted to billing address.

@richardg1983 in accordance with forum rules it’s best that you create your own support ticket rather than list your own site issues. Thank you.

    Hello @richardg1983,

I suggest that you start a new thread with your case, so that we don’t mix several troubleshooting sessions in one thread. Even if the symptoms are the same, perhaps the underlying problem is different in your case.

    Cheers!
