Disable pickup

    I do not want the customer to pick up items..I plan on delivery only. I don’t see that as an option. Is it possible to implement? Maybe a workaround could be the ability to switch the pickup date and time and drop off date and time fields from top to bottom? For instance, I need:

    Drop off date and time:

    Pick up Date and time.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your message. The default labels for Pick up and Drop off date and times actually indicate the rental begin and end dates, respectively. As per requirement of VikRentItems, a rental cost must be defined for the duration of rent calculated from the selected pick up and drop off date and times.

    Unfortunately, delivery only is not an available configuration setting, but overriding the default translation texts is something you could easily do with the help of any third-party plugins that allows you to create “Gettext translation overrides”.

    You should give it a try to see if that helps setting up the booking process correctly, but please be aware of the fact that the goal for selecting the date and times is just to calculate the duration of the rental and to calculate the proper rental cost to be applied to the reservation.
