    Hi,

I want to ask if Course expiration (days) in course is referring to entire course or this time is for particular user?

What I am trying to do is to set a time limit of 3 months for the user to access to pre registered course. And after 3 months the user will no longer have access. This option Time limit is something like this?

  • Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out

By default, when users purchase courses on a standard MasterStudy plugin installed course setup, they typically receive lifetime access to those courses. This means there is no inherent time limit or expiration date set for each course or for individual users after their initial purchase.

However, if you are looking to implement a time-based access system for your courses, such as a 3-month limit as you mentioned, this functionality is often achievable with the Pro edition of MasterStudy LMS. Specifically, many advanced course solutions offer integration with the Paid Memberships Pro plugin.

With Paid Memberships Pro, you can create and manage membership levels that cater to different time frames, such as annual, monthly, or quarterly. By integrating this with your course platform, you can effectively set up a system where course access is tied to membership duration. This way, you can restrict access to courses after the membership expires, aligning with the time period you’ve set (like 3 months in your case).

I hope this information helps you in setting up your course access as per your requirements. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

    Best regards,

    Jacob, Support Team
