    Hello

I am trying to connect my site with Jetpack. Unfortunately I get an error message.

The error message in Jetpack is: An error has occurred. Please try again.

It seems that the connection to Woocommerce.com cannot be established correctly.
The page is listed as a blog at Woocommerce.com under my blogs. I have tried to disconnect or reconnect without success.

Can you help me with this problem?

Sorry there was a mistake in my original post. It seems that the connection to wordpress.com (NOT Woocommerce) cannot be established correctly.
The site with https://www.tnzr-clothing.de (NOT https) is listed as a blog at wordpress.com under my blogs. I have tried disconnecting or reconnecting with no success.

The console throws an error 500. Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support

I used the jetpack debuger to check the XML-RPC connection. Since the page is in a wp subfolder, I get the correct message for the URL https://tnzr-clothing.de/wp/xmlrpc.php “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”

Maybe it will help to disconnect the old http site? Can you help me with this problem. Many thanks for your help.

    Hi @taenzerdigital,

I checked some settings on my end, and it looks like there was a small adjustment that needed to be made to the site settings on our end. Your settings were not showing that the http site is redirecting to the https site, and we couldn’t see on our end that your site was built in a subdirectory. I have fixed both of these issues, so reconnecting Jetpack shouldn’t be an issue.

Before reconnecting Jetpack, please confirm that your site’s Core WordPress settings are configured correctly for your site’s subdirectory setup. These instructions should help with that.

Once that’s completed, please reinstall Jetpack using these instructions: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reinstalling-jetpack. Let us know once this is completed, and we can take a second look.

    Hi @swisha8c,

thank you so much, this fixed the problem. We can now connect to Jetpack (didn’t even have to reinstall, only deactivate and update) and also the WooPayments setup and connection finally works.

Hello there – I’m glad we were able to help.

If you have a moment, would you like to leave a review of the plugin here?

    Thank you for using Jetpack!
