Admin Privlieges after backup/restore
-
I migrated a site using Duplicator and experienced an odd issue with one Administrator account. The admin account worked to login to the wordrpress admin console, but after restore it did not have full admin privileges in a plugin called “Booking Press”. Some aspects were accessible but not all within the plugin. No errors were evident.
However, the first Admin account for the website (which has identical permissions) can access all the functions for the website and Booking Press Plugin.
Newly created Admin accounts appear to also work. I have created a new admin account for the user in question, but I’d like to understand (and fix) the existing issue so that I can trust using Duplicator in the future.Duplicator – used default settings for the backup/package except for the SQL Mode which was changed to PHP Code. No issues were encountered, files were deleted after install as suggested, along with Clear Build Cache.
Duplicator V. 1.5.7.1, Linux, WordPress 6.4.2, PHP 8.1.2, MySQL 8.0.35
