• There’s a plugin ShopWP which we like the look of but this plugin redirects to Shopify for the checkout process.

Is there a WP plugin that displays Shopify products on your WP site and allows for the check process to occur on the WP site?

I believe we’re primarily using Shopify for the shipping features and integration with Google Merchant Center.

Our target market is currently US & UK.

    Hi @srd75,

Here are some plugins that you can consider:

    1. WP Shopify: This plugin allows you to display Shopify products on your WordPress site using shortcodes or widgets. It also provides a customizable cart experience and enables customers to complete the checkout process on your WordPress site. WP Shopify is free to use, but it also offers a premium version with additional features.
    2. Shopify eCommerce Plugin – Shopping Cart: This plugin provides a shopping cart and checkout experience on your WordPress site for Shopify products. It also allows you to customize the look and feel of the shopping cart and checkout pages. The plugin is free to use, but it requires a Shopify account.
    3. Shopify Buy Button: This plugin allows you to add Shopify products to any WordPress page or post using a shortcode. It also provides a customizable cart experience and enables customers to complete the checkout process on your WordPress site. The plugin is free to use, but it requires a Shopify account.

    I hope this helps! ??

    Hey there!

Author of the ShopWP plugin here. I wanted to chime in on a few things.

Due to limitations in the Shopify API, we do indeed send users to the default Shopify checkout page to finish the billing process. I believe you can get around this if you’re on a Shopify Plus account, but that’s only available for enterprise level stores due to the prohibitive monthly cost.

While I can understand the temptation to use WordPress for checkout, here’s a few reasons why I suggest you avoid that:

    1. Shopify has battle tested their checkout page. It’s extremely secure and you don’t need to worry about anything breaking during this crucial step for a customer. If you build a custom solution, or rely on a third-party plugin, you’re definitely taking a risk here.
    2. The Shopify checkout page converts very well.
    3. Using the default Shopify checkout page lets you use any of the Shopify apps that customize the checkout pages.

    Hope this helps!
