    Hi Anthony

Can you help with a question about the location of my site logo? It’s awkwardly sitting on the line below the nav menu leaving an ocean of white space.

I would ideally like the logo to appear on the same level as the menu, like this version which I’ve mocked up:

I’ve tried using different shapes for the logo but it always sits a line below where I want it to be. When you click on the logo you can see it’s contained within a tall rectangular box. It’s this that needs to be changed, but how?

Can you suggest any fix for this, possibly using Additional CSS?

Many thanks in advance for your help

    Mark

I’ve given up with the above issue and abandoned the logo. So, without a logo or site title, my nav menu is now aligned hard left.

Is there any way I can shunt the nav menu over to the right of the frame – perhaps by inserting some code into Additional CSS or the functions.php file?

Another minor problem on the nav menu is the symbol to the right of “News” which indicates a sub-menu. There’s a tiny box, but I would ideally like a down arrow.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hi Mark,

It looks like you’ve sorted out those issues you mentioned above, so I’m going to close this issue.

Just as a sidenote, if you’ve modified the actual theme files, I would strongly recommend that you create a Child Theme and then activate that, rather than modifying the Ephemeris files directly. When I release theme updates, if you decide to update the theme, it’s going to overwrite all your changes.

If you’re not sure how to create a Child theme, then you can simply download the ready-made child theme that I’ve created. You can find a link on the Theme homepage. If you’re interested in learning more about child themes, you can find more details on this official WordPress page.
