Hi,
Our plugin currently offers a bulk discount feature with specific conditions based on the quantity of products purchased:
For the bulk discount method:
0-1 units: Normal price applies, no discount.
2-4 units: A fixed $10 discount is applied to each unit within this range.
5 or more units: There’s a 10% discount on each unit for quantities of 5 or above.
We provide both percentage and fixed discount options within the bulk discount feature, ensuring flexibility for users to apply the preferred discount type on each quantity purchased.
In contrast, the tiered discount method functions differently:
0-1 units: Normal price applies, no discount.
2-4 units: There’s a flat $10 discount, but this applies only to quantities 2, 3, and 4, not 1.
5 or more units: A 10% discount is applied to quantities 5 and above. – (quantity 1 has no discount, quantities 2, 3 & 4 have a flat $10 discount, and from quantity 5 onwards will get a 10% discount.).
I understand that the tiered discount method might better suit your specific requirements. However, I regret to inform you that our current plugin lacks the functionality for tiered discounts.
Further, we can emulate a tiered-like effect using percentages within the bulk discount feature. This adjustment entails applying a percentage discount to each unit within the 2-4 quantity range, rather than a fixed discount per unit. This approach simulates a tiered discount effect based on quantity, where the percentage discount becomes increasingly beneficial as the quantity increases.
While this method may not perfectly replicate a tiered discount system with distinct thresholds, it can provide a similar effect by adjusting the discount mechanism within the bulk discount feature.
Thank you!
