Sort order by custom meta?

I found this plugin searching for Post Carousel sort order custom meta where I found this url stating that it is available in Getwid 1.7.1. But I do not see any option to sort by custom meta value? I see Custom Field Filter but does that do sorting some how and if so could you explain how to do it?
