• Hello,
it seems I am doing some mistake – REALLY STATIC is not working for me… But I cannot see any problem with configuration:

    – Error log OK, that is messages like this
    15 Oct 2010 18:32:42: writing: /………./index.html 16152 Byte
    15 Oct 2010 18:32:41: get https://……….
    – “static” folder: HTML files are OK

The site’s response looks like the same with/without plugin activated.
But I am sure that when the plugin is activated the web is still generated from database:

    – for test purposes I HAVE CHANGED slightly a text in one of index.html file in “static folder”, nevertheless – the site showed me the original version without this change. What more, if I change folder name from “static” via FTP to “static_xxx” still no problem – web is in full operation – generated from DB. In that case I expected some fatal failure.

    I must something miss…
    Do you have any ideas?
Thanks a lot for your comments!

    Hi,
that was standard default configuration, cached files: “work with local filesystem” on my website. Maybe it is something related to my shared hosting (because I was not able to use neither HyperCache, there is safe_mode = on, disabled php.ini online changes etc.)

But I must admit, for my purposes probably ReallyStatic is not an optimal solution (standard WP “CMS system”, a couple of pages), so I settled on QuickCache at last. It is nothing against your plugin, of course!!

    With best regards, joo
