    I’m getting the following error during checkout:-

    "There are no payment methods available. This may be an error on our side. Please contact us if you need any help placing your order."

    I have already done the theme/plugins conflict test by switching the theme to the default “Twenty Twenty-Four” and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce plugin.

    I have also made sure by checking multiple times that my settings including shipping and payment methods are correctly configured and enabled.

    I have also noticed that the order was in “Draft” state but changing it to “Processing” didn’t make any difference.

    COD is set but isn’t available during checkout. I’m getting the following error during checkout:-“There are no payment methods available. This may be an error on our side. Please contact us if you need any help placing your order.”

    1. Re-check COD settings: Ensure that CoD is enabled in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments and that the ‘Enable Cash on Delivery‘ box is checked.     2. Review Shipping Zones: COD may not appear if the customer’s address doesn’t fall within the shipping zones for which you’ve enabled this payment method.     There were multiple logs but they were related to other plugins of WooCommerce and two Fatal logs but were old logs and not related to this issue.

    What does block based checkout mean?

    Because I just noticed this in general section of local pickup:-

    Enable or disable local pickup on your store, and define costs. Local pickup is only available from the block checkout.

When enabled, local pickup will appear as an option on the block based checkout.

    I’ve replicated the scenario on my personal site, however, I am unable to reproduce the issue on my end. As you can see below, I am using the Checkout Block and Cash on Delivery is visible here:

    Can you please try to follow the steps below and see if this resolves the issue?

    • Clear all transients under WooCommerce > Status > Tools
    • Have your host purge the site/server cache
    • Clear your browser’s cache or try another browser or in incognito mode and see if that works

    Nope, tried those troubleshooting options but issue still persists.

    I tested by adding PayPal payment method and that works but Cash on Delivery for some reason is not working.

    Can you tell me how did you use the “Checkout Block”? So, I can test it out as well.

    After placing a test order though, there’s an error shown at the end.

    We look to be making headway with the troubleshooting, and the issue shows just when using the woocommerce_checkoutshortcode, correct?

    Can you set up a duplicate of your site (staging site) so we can test this further?

    Please disable all plugins except WooCommerce on your staging site and change the theme to Storefront. More information here.

    If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

    No, the issue is fixed when using the checkout shortcode.

    The issue is present only in the normal checkout page, the one that is auto-generated by the plugin.

    If I understand you correctly, the issue only appears when using the default checkout page produced by WooCommerce upon installation, correct?

    This is quite strange as the default pages should work as expected upon installation. In this case, it might be affected by your theme or another third-party plugin present on your site. In such instances, I would recommend a full conflict test to verify this.

    However, since you’ve mentioned that it is now working when using a new page containing the checkout shortcode, correct? If so, please change the Checkout page under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Page setup > Checkout page and select the newly created page for this.

    I have already done the theme/plugin conflict test. The issue still happens with only WooCommerce plugin and default theme present. I have also tried to delete the default pages and generate new one.

    Yes, I have already set the checkout page to the one with the shortcode but I’d prefer to have the non-block checkout page instead if it can be fixed.

    I understand the issue still persists even after performing the full conflict test and only WooCommerce and Storefront theme are enabled on your site. Furthermore, even after all caches (site, server, browser) are purged, the result is the same, correct?

    I have read the thread, and from what I understand, COD is only displayed on the checkout page when the Checkout block is used. When the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode is used, then COD is not displayed on the checkout page, correct?

    I’d like to circle back to what my colleague Mirko suggested earlier, which is:
