    We have added telephone number and email fields to the SHIPPING ADDRESS. Telephone being required.

    Problem is that these fields do not show in emails and in backend in the order details. We have set these fields to show in both:

    All these are checked:
    Required?
    Enabled?
    Display in Emails?
    Display in Order Detail Pages

    What can be causing the data missing in backend (fields are visible in backend also but empty) and in the emails?

    WP 6.4.1.
    WC 8.3.0. (just updated to 8.3.1. but not tested with this yet)

    What can be causing this?

    I’d also like to know where the custom fields show up in order details and emails sent to admin after an order is placed? I can’t find this anywhere…

    It’s been reported that while using the plugin Advanced Custom Fields, it is hiding the display of the custom fields on the order detail page for better performance.

    I’m also having this issue. I’d like to have the additional fields I’ve added at checkout included in the order confirmation email sent to admin after the order is placed. Can you please help with this?
