I’m trying to include the page title dynamically as a variable in the normal content area. In this example the page title is called “Trier” (which is a city in Germany) and I want to have this title used in multiple places in the content area. This is supposed to be a generic text which in certain places includes a city name somewhere in the sentence. I was looking for something like the following:

Text area: “Lorem ipsum <pageTitle> et alterum <pageTitle> et blablala …” which should for this page result in “Lorem ipsum Trier et alterum Trier et blablala …” when being displayed.

Can someone point me to a way on how to achieve it? I’m using Zakra 3.0.6.

  • Hi @achimbecker,

    Thanks for reaching us,

The Zakra theme doesnot support allowing the dynamic content to the pages. However you can use the third-party plugin for achieving the feature on your end. Here is the link to the lists of plugin: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-dynamic-content-in-wordpress-beginners-guide/

Let me know if this helps you or not and I will get back to you.

hmm, if I were to use the suggested SeedProd option, I would have to do this INSTEAD of the Zakra theme, which is obviously not what I what. And likewise for you I guess?!

The second option only with OptinMonster works with campaigns on top of the Zakra theme, which is also not solving the problem within a content area of a Zakra theme.

Do you have other proposals which would align better with continuing to use the Zakra theme?

    best, Achim

    Hi @achimbecker,

    Thanks for reaching back,

As mentioned earlier, Zakra theme doesn’t allow adding the dynamic content on it. So for now, please try using third-party plugins to achieve the desired result on your end.

However, I will discuss it with the developer and, if possible implement it on the upcoming version of the theme released.

    Hi Barsha,

did you hear sth back from the development team?

    best, Achim

    Hi @achimbecker,

    Thanks for reaching back,

The feature has been added to our RoadMap, but developers are still not able to work due to some priority tasks associated with the Zakra theme. However, I will discuss it with the developer and request them to work on it soon.
