Is there a particular code that can be used to remove post-inner top padding ONLY on pages with cover as the first item? How about for group with a background also?

Hmm – this is a great question. The short answer is no – it’s not possible to do it by detecting that a cover block is the first item. If you had some other way of signifying those posts – like a tag or category you assigned to them – that might open up possibilities of using CSS to target the padding specifically on those pages.

Where is the svg icons file so it can be replaced with my own icons?

Can you share a link and/or screenshot with an example of the icons you’re looking to change? Swapping out the SVG files themselves may not be the best option – but depending on what your aim is, there may be some others.

Where is the footer menu link colour placed in the stylesheet so it can be changed? also position centered (I’ll probably figure this out)

It would be helpful to have a URL for the site – then I can make some suggestions specifically.

Can photos or text and content (certain blocks) be adjusted to “ignore” the section- inner paddings like shown for full-widths? ( adjusting it to position itself fully left or right without paddings/margin for the layout?

The answer is maybe ?? If you were to add classes to the specific blocks – you’d be able to target them with CSS.

To be honest – I don’t fully understand what you mean about ignoring the inner padding when left and right aligned – but a screenshot might be handy here.

Is there somewhere where I can learn the basics of blocks CSS so I could customize them to my interest?

I’ve seen the css for removing top margin if its fullwidth (entry-header or ) but I could also use if page-id to remove the padding-top for whichever pages as well.

SVG icons in the theme to replace with my own (search, menu etc)

TwentyTwenty has a padding of 4rem of the 1200px – If I wanted to have text and content block or other blocks to fit the full width, how do I figure which wp-block is asigned to it.

The footer- menu link is in “red” I tried changing the link colour and it wouldn’t change – I am asking where is the colour being called from so i can replace it. also how can a center the link from left (starter-end?) to position on desktop

Ok – I found a solution to the padding issue.

I’ll just have to figure out what the svg icons are for the sesrch, menu, down arrow to replace with a different style of icon.

as for extending an image full width to the right or left a layout without the inner padding i have to test it out.
