Can't Post Comments After Permalink Change

  • Hi folks,

    I changed the permalinks setting on my site and I can no longer post comments. When I click on the link it takes me to the following page: “about#respond.” I don’t know how to regain access to posting comments on the blog page. Any ideas?

    Is /about a post? It’s hard to tell.

    Did a comment form appear when you clicked on “No Comments” below the post before you changed the permalinks?

    About is a page. The only posts are on the “Blog” page. Comments worked before I changed the permalinks.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 – 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.
