    Hi Team,

Thank you very much for this awesome plugin.

Everything works great on this plugin, except the lazy loading of youtube videos above the fold.

I have enabled “lazy load iframes”, and it works perfectly well for all youtube videos which are “below the fold”, but when I am pushing the videos inside the renderable viewport (above the fold) it does not get lazy loaded.

Google now indexes only those Youtube videos that are above the fold, and that is why I have to push all the existing youtube videos above the fold, on my content.

Your suggestion on this will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Swag.

    Thanks for your reply!

    Here’s the report number:

However I am wondering how this report can help to indicate the issue of youtube videos not getting lazy loaded above the fold??

Out of 135 video pages I have only 3 articles where the videos are pushed above the fold.

well , it doesn’t , but it will give me the information about the plugin settings

could you please kindly share one of these 3 pages ?

Here’s the page with the video above the fold:

    homemade-circuits.com/generating-electricity-from-piezo-buzzer/

I just now inspected the video iframe and it indeed shows data-lazyloaded-1

However, when I check these pages on pagespeed tool, they all recommend me to lazy load youtube javascript, whereas this issue is completely eliminated for all articles which have the videos below the fold.

    This looks confusing to me.

    Thanks you!

yes , because that is within viewport , so despite being iframe lazylaoded, yet it is still started to load “immediately” , and that iframe comes with these javascript , unfortunately there is no way we can alter that behavior
