Apple Pay not working

I am trying to setup Apple Pay with Woopayments and on the product page, the button appears but Apple changes the value to zero and when you double click the order doesn’t go through.

It looks like there might be a conflict with another plugin or perhaps a theme issue. I suggest you try temporarily disabling all other plugins and switching to a default WordPress theme like Storefront to see if the issue persists. If it does, then we know it’s related to WooPayments, and we can investigate further.

Is there a way I can make this work or do you think we have to remove the delivery date plugin first, and do you think the first issue mentioned is separate?

It seems that the order of the checkout page is causing a problem. The Apple Pay button is displayed before the delivery date option, which is causing the error. This could be resolved by changing the order of the checkout fields so that the delivery date option appears before the Apple Pay button. This can be done with the help of a developer or by using a plugin that allows you to rearrange the checkout fields, such as Checkout Field Editor or Conditional Checkout Fields & Edit Checkout Fields for WooCommerce.

If these solutions don’t work, it might be necessary to consider removing the delivery date plugin or finding an alternative that is more compatible with Apple Pay and WooPayments.

Thanks for your reply. I will certainly look into the first issue. So I have changed the order of where the delivery date appears so it is now right next to the the Apple Pay button. I have selected a delivery date and ensured all my details are entered but it is still coming up with an error message saying I need to enter a later name also also select a delivery date

Just to confirm, does the “Delivery date” plugin add a local pickup shipping method? I’m asking because this is already a known issue with our Stripe extension, so this might be something we need to move to the developers.

As far as I’m aware the delivery date plugin works in conjunction with the Flat Rate delivery method but doesn’t apply when selecting click & collect for example

I can see your theme is overriding many WooCommerce-core templates, most of which are outdated (for previous versions of WooCommerce) so the problem could be caused by your theme or another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for Woo and WooPayments
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Ok thanks. So I’ve been struggling all day to get this to work and all of a sudden we have just had our first order through via Apple Pay. How do payment work to us, I think I read somewhere it can take a few days to go into our account with our first order. Also how do refunds work?

When a customer makes a payment via Apple Pay, the funds are usually transferred to your account within a few days as explained here: https://woo.com/document/woopayments/deposits/

As for refunds, you can process it directly through your WooCommerce dashboard, and it can take anywhere from 5 to 10 business days for their money to be returned to their account.

4. Conflict testing: Check to see if you can access the Payments tab with just the default theme, WooCommerce, and WooPayments enabled.
