Is there or could there be some kind of logging of what actions one user takes on behalf of another? If one captures Switch and Switch Back timestamps, it seems it may be possible to search some events lists or the Woo Order logs for actions by that userid in that time window?

@kenlyle Yep this is possible. Take a look through the plugin FAQ, I’ve answered a few questions on this topic there. Let me know if you think there’s anything else I should add!

Thanks, John. I opened the FAQ, and looked for logging and then log, which has only references to login, logout, etc.

Here is a Bard chat on this topic. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the plugin to actually add records to any logging table.

Could you possibly review that chat for value, and maybe even implement it, either as part of the core plugin, or standalone?

John, I have followd that link again, and searched for logging in the page, reviewed the one FAQ from the link, and can’t make sense of it.

I know that I have seen, somewhere, a list of general WP logging plugins that work with User Switching, but can’t locate that list atm.

Could you please make it completely simple stupid by posting a FAQ question/answer:

What logging plugins work best with User Switching?

You can install an audit trail plugin such as Simple History, WP Activity Log, or Stream, all of which have built-in support for User Switching and all of which log an entry when a user switches into another account.
