Limit profile photo choices to predefined set

Hello!

I’m hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

I want to use profile photos on my site — dev.noagendameetups.com — but I don’t want to allow arbitrary file uploads.

Instead, I want users to choose from a small selection of images which will be stored in my WordPress theme directory.

So instead of any random image they want — they can only choose from a set of images I’ve already picked.

I’ve been researching this a lot, but I’m not sure the best way to go about doing this.

I know UM store profile photos for each user in the uploads/user_id directory but this isn’t really needed for my purposes as it’s just a couple of images.

Any thoughts on how I could best hook into UM for this?
