Posts showing with category template

  • Hi,
    I made a theme with an index showing all the posts less one category post.
    These posts are shown in a page that uses a template for calling this category and shows the excerpt.
    The problem comes when you try to read the post completely, because it doesn’t use the single.php template file, it uses the template I used for the category, so you can only see the excerpt instead of the_content (that is called in the single.php file).

    I dont know if is a problem of the permalinks (category/post) but I go to check.
    If anyone can help me I’ll thanks a lot.

    Ok, if I make the permalinks not to call the category it works.
    Anyway I would like to know how to do it showing the category in the permalinks, so I’m open to any idea.
