From stops sending mails after 2 hours of entering new recaptcha

  • Hi,

    I have a problem with Contact Form 7 and Google Recaptcha v3.

    I use Recaptcha enterprise on Google Cloud.

    I have noticed that my form stopped working.
    Nobody can fill the form and send mail.

    I just got message – sorry your message could not be send. Try again later.

    I managed to fix that by replacing Google Recaptcha keys with new ones – but it only helps for a while like 2 hours.

    Don’t know why it helps only for that time.

    Tried to contact Google – they said that there is everything good with my billing account so there is not a problem.

    I have latest version of Contact Form plugin which is 5.8.2 – i have updated to this version and nothing changed.

    I have the same problem. It started happening 10 days ago. I am using Recaptcha v3 in a login page.

    Unfortunatelly there is much more websites like that.

    I too am having the same problem. A client contacted me yesterday to say their form wasn’t sending any messages. I assume it is recaptcha related. Much like Mehedi, I found this:

    Any ideas, besides disabling recaptcha?

    What is your error message?

    I am getting this message: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: No appropriate protocol (protocol is disabled or cipher suites are inappropriate)

    @hasans321 Where did you get such error? I see no error log file and my browser console gives no error too.

    I am not using WordPress. I am getting this error from my SaaS application works on Java. I found this topic while I was searching my problem.

    We have %99 same problem. When I restart server, it is working but after 40-50 minutes, I am starting to get SSLHandShake error from Google Recaptcha.

    @takayukister Do you have maybe any ideas what to do?

    The situation is quite urgent because many sites cannot send messages – as you can see not only mine sites.

    I don’t know for sure if this is directly related to Contact Form 7 but if so then we would appreciate some info.

    If this is not with Contact Form 7 then it seems like recaptcha is useless and we must immediately search for another solution.

    Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7 and Yoast SEO, and clearing all cache data.

    Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.
