  • Is there a way to roll back to 6.3

    1) Restore your backup.

    2) If you have access to the dashboard, use the Core Rollback or WP Downgrade plugin.

    3) If neither option above works for you, you must downgrade manually. Follow the manual update guide, but grab the specific WordPress version you want to downgrade to, rather than the latest version.

    until 6.4 problems are fixed?

It’s more like… until your theme and all your plugins are fixed to be compatible with WordPress 6.4.

If you can tell us what specific issue you’re dealing with, perhaps we might be able to help you resolve it.

No version of WordPress (or any software for that matter) will ever be perfect… and while 6.4 may have its issues, it’s certainly fully functional and not broken. I’ve updated dozens of client sites (both manually and automatically) and only one site had an issue… and that was due to an out-of-date plugin that needed a little TLC.

I addressed the issue independently by making adjustments to some of WordPress’s core code. This interim solution was implemented while awaiting the identification and resolution of the problem. Thank you for your response.
