Redirect to Localhost after Activating 2FA and Login failures

    Hi there,

    I activated the 2FA and tried to login. First it works as expected, but then The code was not accepted anymore and I could not login into the dashboard.

    After a few tries the Site is blocked for me and all access to the frontend and backend will be redirected to localhost.

    How can I solve this Problem?

    delete browser cache, cookies and wp cache does not help. Seems that my IP has blocked. Is there a way to release it?

    I logged in with a different IP (dynamically allocated by provider) and therefore its solved. I guess that the ip-blocking will be released after 60 minutes, …

    Hi @trimension

    Yes, If you have login lockout enabled and there were invalid login attempts it may Temporary block your IP.

    You can use another internet service provider if your IP blocked and with new IP you can access the site.
