`The plugin is fairly okay but you can’t have much to do with it when it comes to setting shipping rules in a more advanced appliance scenario. The only way to make the plugin useful for users who need more functions that are available in other free shipping-related plugins is to pay for the Pro version. That’s understandable but the next thing won’t be acceptable and this is why I gave a 2-star rate for it, which was originally 3 before I found another issue with the plugin.

The plugin blocks users from deactivating it which makes users can not do anything but delete it from the server directly without other options. You may see that from the screenshot at ibb.co/Zd90H7v of how it reacts to stop users from deactivating it with Version 4.23.0.

Hi Henry ( @sirhenryhu ),

I’m afraid that your statement is far from being correct. Just to make it clear — we have never done, and would never do, such a thing since it doesn’t comply with WP principles and it’s definitely not the direction we want to develop our plugins in. Not only are we highly committed to providing a user-friendly and transparent experience, but we also believe in allowing the users to manage plugins according to their preferences.

Regarding the screenshot you have linked — this is not the way how it looks by default. Please see the comparison below (your screenshot’s on the right vs original Flexible Shipping plugin deactivation popup on the left):

You can see the difference right away. It seems that apparently one of the plugins you are currently using in your store, (which, according to your screenshot, are quite a few), is overwriting the default Flexible Shipping styling, resulting in not only messing with the fonts but also with other elements which should be displayed there.

To sum up, this is undoubtedly not the Flexible Shipping plugin’s fault, nor its default behavior, and by no means our intended action.

What I may advise here is to start deactivating the other plugins you have installed, one by one, to find out which of them is interfering and messing with the CSS rules, since it might affect the other functionalities as well.

Kind regards,
Luke
