Hi @mfghost,
I can’t figure out how to turn on the product reviews/customer testimonials on my WC setup. I turned troubleshooting mode on, turned all the plugins off and tried the default theme, and cleared the cache but still no reviews or review tab.
All the check boxes to show the product reviews are checked and I’ve been using WC for years so I know my way around the back end but I can’t figure out why the reviews tab is not showing.
From what I understand, you’re having a problem with your product reviews or customer testimonials not showing up on your WooCommerce setup. You’ve been diligent in trying to fix the issue by enabling the correct settings, disabling plugins, switching to the default theme, and clearing the cache. I appreciate your patience and the effort you’ve put in so far.
Let’s see if we can figure this out together. Here are a few more steps you can take:
- Update your plugins and themes: Keeping everything up-to-date can help avoid unexpected issues.
- Check your WooCommerce Settings: Go to “WooCommerce > Settings > Products > General” and make sure the “Enable product reviews” box is checked.
- Check your Product Data: On the edit page of the product that’s not showing reviews, look under the “Product Data” section. There’s an “Advanced” tab there. Ensure the “Enable reviews” box is checked. If you need help with this, check out our handy guide on ?? Product Reviews.
If you’ve tried these steps and are still having trouble, we’ll need a bit more information to help you further. Could you send us a screenshot of your WooCommerce and Product Reviews settings? This will help us understand your current setup and figure out the next steps.
You can share screenshots at https://snipboard.io. Just follow the instructions on the page and paste the URL in your response.
We would also find it helpful to see your site’s System Status report. This can give us a better idea of your site’s setup and help us pinpoint the problem. You can find the report under WooCommerce > Status
. Choose Get system report
and then Copy for support
.
If there are any fatal error logs, please share those too. You can find them under WooCommerce > Status > Logs
.
Once you’ve gathered this information, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com to paste it and share the link with us.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation in this matter! We’re here to help you get this sorted.
