Hello,

I recently noticed that while using the ajaxify comments with comment edit pro and buddypress I noticed the following.
1. Character control is no longer working or the scripts are not being loaded after the first comment has been posted. it only works for the first comment being posted.
2. Buddypress @mention autosuggestion also does not work or scripts are not loaded after the first comment has been posted. it only works for the first comment being posted. maybe this might help https://buddydev.com/enabling-mention-autocomplete-support-on-buddypress-compose-message-screen/
Note lazy load is currently disabled while this issue occurs, testing for comment lazy load would also be needed while lazy load is enabled

I’m working on getting Comment Edit Core compatible. As far as BuddyPress, I’ll have to look into how their scripts are loading in and if there’s anything I can do there.

I’ve just released versions of Ajaxify Comments and Comment Edit Pro that should be fully compatible. If you run into any issues with Comment Edit Pro, can you please use my support form?

I just tested the update now and I noticed the following
1. Character control is not working when users are editing comments, character control should also work when users are editing comments in the frontend otherwise edited comments would bypass the previous character control set for the initial posted comment.
2. Budyypress at mention scripts is still not loading after posting a comment

I have updated Comment Edit Core and Comment Edit Pro so that the Comment Character Control feature can load in correctly when editing a comment.

For BuddyPress, I need more time to develop this.

@teeboy4real is there a trick to get the auto-complete to work in comments as I’m not seeing anything when I have BuddyPress installed when I try to @ someone?

1. You will need to enable the buddypress (component) and (options) settings
2. Add one or two demo users as friends so u can @ mention them
