    Hi there,

I’m seeing the following error in Chrome console after updating to 3.7.0:

    /wp-json/wp/v2/users/me?context=edit&_locale=user 401 (Unauthorized)

Rolling back to 3.6.1 fixed the error.

    Hi all,

Thanks for raising this. The team have acknowledged the error and are looking into a fix.

Just to clarify in the meantime, has any material impact been observed besides the error messages in the browser console?

    Thank you.

    Hi @benfterpay,

    Thanks for the update.

Only impact I noticed was the error, but I rolled back to the previous version for testing and left it at that when it resolved the error.

Sorry I can’t be of more help.

    Hi @japenz,

No need to apologise. Thanks for responding.

We’re just trying to figure out exactly what’s causing that error. The latest release primarily only introduces support for WordPress blocks on the product and cart pages in anticipation of WooCommerce declaring blocks as the new default experience this month. But it’s still pretty new; if you’re not using blocks you can defer the update until we figure this out. I’m hoping we can have a patch ready next week.

    Thanks.

    Hi @benfterpay,

I didn’t realise WooCommerce were declaring blocks as the new default… guess I’ll need to be ready to use them in the near future haha!

For the moment we don’t use blocks, so this isn’t an issue for us.

    Thanks for the update!

I have had the same issue since I updated.

Took me a few days to work out what was causing it. In that time it has cost me many sales

    Hi all,

A fix for this issue has been released with version 3.7.1.

Please follow up if there are any further challenges.

    Thank you.
