Hi Support,

For a while now, I have had an issue with saving the Minify settings. I’ll have the Minify settings set to “Manual” in the General settings and the go to make more changes in the dedicated Minify page. Every time I try to save the page I get either a 522 error or 406 error. This hasn’t always been the case, with it being fine 6+ months ago.

I’ve tried reinstalling the plugin, removing all files related to it, and deactivating other plugins to see if there is a conflict.

This is not specifically related to the W3 Total Cache but to some server settings. Have you made any changes before the issues started to occur?

The 522 error occurs when the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) handshake between the web server and a website that uses Cloudflare as the CDN fails.
- Server overload. When an origin server faces too many requests, it cannot respond in time.
- Firewall blocks Cloudflare requests. Some web hosting providers have firewall features that might block Cloudflare IP addresses, which flags requests from the CDN.
- Incorrect IP address. The addresses on your domain name system (DNS) do not match the ones on Cloudflare.
- KeepAlive disabled. Cloudflare activates KeepAlive messages by default. If they are disabled, the connection setup fails
The 406 Not Acceptable is an HTTP response status code indicating that the client has requested a response using Accept- headers that the server cannot fulfill.
