    Hello,
is it somehow possible to generate an overview of all configured shipping rates and zones and show it to the customers on a page in the front-end of the WooCommerce shop? If not, could that be a feature for future updates?
    Thanks you!

    best regards

    Hi @skinperforator,

Do you mean providing the customers with the information about the shipping cost directly on the product page? If so, we have a dedicated plugin which might be exactly what you are looking for:

    Hi, thanks for the reply.
This isn’t exactly what I’m looking for. More it should be an overview of the costs by weight and Zones/countries in our case. As people usually order more than one product in the shop this plugin wouldn’t really do the trick.

Thank you for clarifying and providing the additional information. With the PRO version of the plugin I linked above you can display the shipping cost not only for the currently viewed product but also for all the products that are already added to the cart. However, since this forum is dedicated only to the free plugins, we’re not supposed to discuss the PRO features here. If you’re interested in receiving some more information about the Shipping Cost on Product Page PRO plugin, please contact us directly at https://octolize.com/support/.

When it comes to Flexibles Shipping, I’m afraid that unfortunately neither the free, nor its PRO version allows you to display such kind of shipping cost overview at the moment. This is due to the way how the WooCommerce zone matching works and when the plugin steps into action. Once the customer enters the shipping address details in the cart or checkout, the right shipping zone is matched and if there is a Flexible Shipping shipping method added within this zone, the plugin dynamically applies the proper shipping cost calculation rule depending on the cart contents. Displaying such a dynamically generated overview would require including all the possible scenarios for all shipping zones configured in the shop, which, in turn, not only would consume resources but also significantly affect the page loading speed, especially for complex shipping configurations.

    Kind regards,

Hi Luke, thanks for clearing that up! Still in the scenario I’m looking for that overview shouldn’t be that dynamic. No matter which zone the customer is in, there should only be a table, where you can check the cost beforehand (similiar to the tables where the costs are set, but not editable).

    Like:
Zone 1 Name (List of countries)
From weight 1 to weight 2 – price
From weight 3 to weight 4 – price

    Zone 2 Name …

and so on. That should be possible to fetch from the database and to just display on a shipping cost information page without a lost of resourceful calculation, right? Surely depends on how complex rules you have, but still. Maybe with a user interface to click the rules needed together or something?
Would really appreciate, if that could be taken in consideration. I’m sure a lot of shop owners would like this and not have to update their shipping cost information manually.
We already use the pro version, which is great btw!

    Thank you!

    Hi @skinperforator,

I’ve passed your suggestion to our Product Owner and put it on our roadmap and features requests list. It will be considered for future developments. I’ve also added you to the list of the people interested in such feature, so you’ll be notified as soon as the update containing this option is released.

    Kind regards,
    Luke
