Hi,
In order to fix the issue reported in the Translation Editor where clicking the green pencil icon on some of the text did not bring up the textboxes for editing translation please follow these steps:
– Update to the latest version of TranslatePress – Multilingual plugin.
– Perform a backup of your database in order to safely restore in case something unexpected happens – Go to Settings->TranslatePress->Advanced->Debug->Optimize TranslatePress database tables.
– From the Operations to perform, only select “Replace gettext strings that have original id NULL with the correct original ids”. Unselect all the others operations as they are not needed for your case.
– Click Optimize Database and wait for the script to finish.
– Check if the issue is solved.
