rename text Choose File + No file chosen

    hi, i would like to know how change the text in the div forminator-file-upload : “”Choose File” + “No file chosen”. Because i have my wordpress in english but i have a form in french so i translated all fields but i can’t translate those two fields.

    I hope you’re well today!

    There’s currently no setting for this but those strings are “translatable” so you can use our free Branda plugin and its “Text Replacement” tool for this.

    You’ll find plugin here:

    Once it’s installed and enabled:

    1. go to “Branda -> Utilities -> Text Replacement” page and activate module

    2. click “Add Rule” and put “Choose File” in “Find Text” field, your translation in “Replace with” field, set “Scope” to “All pages”, “Case matching” to “Case insensitive” and “Links text” to “Exclude” and save it

    3. then repeat step 2 for the “No file chosen” text.

    Once you add that and clear all caches on site it should translate this strings.

    It’s a pity it’s not possible directly with the plugin forminator.
