My non-shopping blog blocked categorized as “Shopping”

This sounds like something in a firewall at your work rather than a WP problem. However, I get a 404 when attempting to visit /category/shopping.

When I searched Bing for my blog sidewayup.com, I noticed the date 9/29/2023 is listed and also there is a “Shop” page. I used a Kadence shopping theme to create my blog, but deleted everything from the theme and started fresh. Do you think that might have caused it to categorize as “shopping”? I would like to transfer my blog to a blank canvas but keep all of the settings, is that possible?

On my work computer when I accessed my blog at work. When I typed in the url https://www.sidewayup.com, it showed “Web Page Blocked. Category: Shopping”.

You need to talk to the IT folks at work as it’s their filter, not WP, that’s causing this.

I understand it is the filter at my work place. Do you think because I used a shopping theme? I think I will need to transfer my blog to a blank canvas or another theme.
