Customers are receiving this error message during checkout (Square). I do not receive this error message when we enabled sandbox to test.

Error: Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state.

From what I understand, your customers are encountering an error message during checkout with Square that states, “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state.” However, you’ve mentioned that this error does not occur when you test with sandbox enabled.

Let’s try to troubleshoot this together. Here’s what you can do:

    1. Update WooCommerce and Square plugins: Make sure that both your WooCommerce and Square plugins are up to date with the latest versions.
    2. Check the WooCommerce Square settings: Ensure that Square is configured correctly in your WooCommerce settings. You can do this by navigating to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Square. If you need assistance, you can refer to our guide on ?? WooCommerce Square: Payment Settings.
    3. Verify your Square account’s location settings: Sign in to your Square Dashboard, go to Settings > Business > Locations, and confirm that the location matches what you have in your WooCommerce settings.
    4. Check WooCommerce location settings: Go to WooCommerce > Settings > General and make sure that you have correctly set up selling locations.
    5. Plugin Conflict: Try deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce and Square. If the error goes away, turn your plugins back on one at a time until you find the one causing the conflict.
    6. Theme Conflict: Try switching to a default WordPress theme like Storefront and check if the issue remains. If it doesn’t, your theme might be the problem. Here’s a helpful guide on how to test for conflicts: ?? How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please share more details with us. Screenshots of your Square settings in WooCommerce and your Square Dashboard settings would be very useful.

You can share screenshots at https://snipboard.io. Just follow the instructions on the page and paste the URL in your response.

Sharing your site’s System Status report will also help us understand your site’s setup and identify the problem. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

If there are any fatal error logs, please share those as well. You can find them under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve gathered this information, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com to paste it and share the link with us.

Thanks for your patience and cooperation in this matter! We’re here to help you get this sorted.

Support did not help me resolve this, so how I fixed it was I disconnected Square, and then reconnected it. When I reconnected it, my location was. now visible and It seems to work fine now. Hope this helps
