• Plugin harvests your private data.

Within seconds of installing this plugin, I received an email from the developers. The plugin scraped my email address from the wordpress admin settings, automatically added me to a list then spammed my inbox.

    EDIT:
The plugin also collects your customer’s data. Customer’s reporting being spammed by the plugin.

Anybody can stick a privacy policy on their website and claim to be compliant with the GDPR.

The GDPR is absolutely clear – consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. The option to consent must be clearly displayed and documentary evidence of consent must be kept.

Therefore, your plugin should provide an opt-in process during setup. Your plugn didn’t do anything of the kind. It sneaked around my private dashboard, scraped my email and spammed – without my knowledge or consent.

That is 100% not complaint with the GDPR
