Wrong Location by Miles

  • The plugin was working fine until the most recent version of WordPress updated. This plugin is currently not compatible with WordPress. One device that I used showed that my location was 100 miles away in the north west direction, while another showed it was 100 miles south.

    I would like to keep using this plugin, but I need an update fast. I was pitching businesses yesterday with a website demo and the location was not correct.

    Hi @foodlisty

    I just did a fresh installation of WordPress for testing the plugin and everything seems fine here. Maybe the issue is due to cache on your website, please double-check your Cloudflare and cache plugin settings and disable them on the snippet/post.

    Hi @5unnykum4r ,

    I was in the Catskill mountains and one device said Syracuse, NY and another showed Wilmington, DE.

    I am back in the city/suburb area and it now works.

    Why would the location be scrambled up in the mountains?
