• No visits to https://resulgence.fr are taken into account by the Burst Statistics plugin. I ran the “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin with only the Burst Statistics plugin enabled, and nothing is counted if someone visits the site…

It seems that it is working now, because I deactivated the “CookieYes | GDPR Cookie Consent“, replaced by the “Complianz?|?GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent“. Does it make any sense?

@websteem probably the other plugin blocks burst. Complianz is fully integrated, so will not block it.

We also noticed that our traffic count went to zero, but we don’t use Complianz. Is there something we should be looking at that would resolve this issue?

    Hi @jreese78254,

Most of the time it is a problem with caching or a conflict with another plugin. So if you are using a caching plugin clearing the cache would be the first step.

If that does not work, or you are not using a caching plugin you can try Troubleshooting with the WordPress Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.

We can see if there are any issues with your tracking if you give us your URL. It is easiest to open a new support request and share your URL over there!

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

We do not use a caching plugin, so that is not something that should be an issue. Also, we are hosted on Pantheon, so I am not sure if it is a site issue. I would give you the URL, but we are locked down using CAC authentication.

Is there another way we could possibly get you information so you could see what the issue might be?

That’s complicated but I’d recommend installing the WordPress Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This can help you identify if another plugin or theme is causing the issue. Otherwise it’s probably an incompatibility with your setup. To use it:

    • Go to Installed plugins
    • Next to Burst Statistics, you will see a new option, ‘Troubleshooting’. Click.
    • You should now be running only Burst Statistics. Go to the Burst Statistics page and check if the error persists. If it does not persist, the issue is not caused by Burst. If it does, please let me know and we will look into it.
    • If the issue did not persist, try enabling all your other plugins one by one and check if the issue returns. This way, you can determine which plugin is causing the conflict.

I hope this is clear. If you need any help or have more questions, let me know. We’re happy to help.

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

I would install that plugin if so many people hadn’t stated that it broke their Web site.

If you have FTP access, it should not be a problem. I’ve used it on many websites without a problem.

Can you maybe check if there are any console errors on the frontend?

    1. You can do this by opening a private browsing window. Make sure your current IP is not in the block list.
    2. Go to your website and right-click.
    3. Click inspect or inspect element
    4. Go to the console tab and check if there are any errors.

Please let us know what you see.

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

I am seeing an invalid property name for the following:

    *zoom: 1;

I am also seeing an invalid property value for the following:

    -webkit-box-flex: auto;

Can you check if you have empty goals configured? It looks like a goal has been setup, using an empty selector. If you enter a random selector, like ‘test’, the error on the front-end should go away.

I’ll add a check to prevent this in the plugin.

I checked, and no goals are set for the plugin.

@jreese78254 I got confused, as you’re not the thread starter. So I looked at the wrong website. If you share your domain we can check if there are any issues on the front-end that prevent the hits from being tracked.

Our site is behind a smart card authentication layer that prevents us from sharing it with people outside our organization. If there is something specific you want me to look at, or you want to have a remote session and look while I drive, we can probably accommodate that effort.

Do you see any javascript errors in the developer console of the browser, on the front-end? To access the developer console, right-click on the screen, inspect, console.

Do you have an e-mail address where I can send you a screen capture of what I am seeing?
