  • For those items ordered online, and paid by credit card, there is no problem with integration (once setup).

    for any orders with local pickup or pay on delivery, WooCommerce requires their own payment method, rendering this app uselsss

    Hi @andalusianworld, the payment section of the Square extension is meant to help merchants accept payment via the Square payment gateway.

    WooCommerce also comes with in-built payment methods that include Cash on delivery which can also be used to add Cash on delivery and Local Pickup payment options. Note that these other options have nothing to do with the Square extension.

    Since we cannot offer support in reviews, I would recommend creating a support ticket so we can guide you on how to set this up.

    Square does work for online payments, but payment by credit in person (through woocommerce) requires woo payment.

    This defeats the purpose and yet adds another gateway that clients are not willing to entertain

    Thank you for clarifying further @andalusianworld.

    If you are referring to accepting payment in your physical store using the in-person person payment method, it would be good to note that this can be done with Square but would require the Square POS.
