    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

I tried to find a product on this site, but was not able to find one. I wanted to verify that you are contacting us for the PayPal Standard plugin, because we only support the PayPal Payments plugin.

The error you provided is also an error that I have not seen and believe you are still using the older plugin that does not get any support any longer (sunset since March 2022). If this is our plugin, please provide me a link for a product, so I can see the error myself and take a look what is occurring here. You could also open a private engagement to us if you want to share details (like system report and logs) privately.

    Pending your response.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello,

Since we did not receive any response or follow-up questions from you, we will assume you got this working to your requirements. If you still have any more questions for us, please open a new thread, because we will mark this one as resolved.

    Kind regards,

Hello, I am getting the exact same error.
When I click on Proceed to PayPal, it shows PayPal error page with message:
“Something doesn’t look right. Your payment to this merchant can’t be completed using PayPal. Choose another way to pay.”

And the url in my case is exactly like this (“INVALID_BUSINESS_ERROR”)

I am testing in sandbox mode on localhost.

woocommerce version just updated to 8.4.0

    Please help.
    Thanks

After debugging your code, I found out that the problem was because the PayPal credentials that used did not match the PayPal email address.

After fixing it, the problem fixed.

    So it is my mistake.

But maybe good idea to add a better error message. this can help to people without coding/reverse engineering skills

    Hello @gileli121,

I think this might be done because there can be other aspects of the account details that can cause this issue. I have added this to our knowledge base, so next time we should be able to help more efficiently.

I will also check with the product owner if there is any way we can improve the error that is being returned on this situation.

Thank you very much for the time you took to inform us about your findings and the suggestion you made.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
