[Plugin: ProPlayer] Database getting huge!?

I have been using this amazing plugin for a few weeks and the wp_proplayer_playlist is already 40mb and I don’t even use a playlist!

Also I keep on getting

PHP Warning: mysql_select_db(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/proplayer/playlist-controller.php on line 44

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
