• I published a plugin here called Better Delete Revision but when I search for it in www.remarpro.com it doesn’t appear.

It’ s annoying because when I have to install it on my website I must use FTP to upload the plugin, but I want to use the embedded search function to install it automatically!

    What’s wrong with www.remarpro.com search?

  • I don’t mean to hijack the thread but I want to add some information for what I believe is essentially the same problem I’m experiencing.

I, too, published a new plugin for a client recently: zhiing Send-to-Phone. However, if you search for “zhiing” and you have the “relevant” or “highest rated” options selected, the plugin does not appear on the search results. I had similar results when trying to search for galerio’s plugin.

Since “relevant” is the default (not even shown when using the sidebar search form as opposed to the search form on the main plugins page) people are not finding the plugin.

Does anyone care to provide some insight into how the search function is supposed to work, and how we can effectively deploy plugins so they are included in the results properly?

Apologies to galerio for jumping in, thanks to anyone who can help us out.

I’ve just tried to set the sort order in the search, but it doesn’t matter what you are searching for, if you search for a name and set “most popular” as sort order, it shows the most popular plugins of all the time, indipendently from the term of search!

    This is incredibly! LOL!!

I hope some of the guys in www.remarpro.com will read this post and explain us the situation.

So there must be a change in www.remarpro.com website. The search results must include ALL the matching plugins.
