• Good add-on and looks very nice on the website. But when reviews show up, and you click approve, nothing happens. Just get a loading icon. This issue is caused by incorrect dns settings when using a wordpress hosting service such as namecheap easy wp.

One workaround is to set manual approval to 2 stars or less so that high reviews show up no problem. But once DNS settings were updated (which can take overnight to fully update). This plugin works very well, and Paul even offered to troubleshoot the issue remotely.

I would suggest using hCaptcha for WordPress integration to stop automated posts as well as the Akismet anti-spam plugin as well (just deactivate Akismet when giving a go to prevent false positives).

If the approval link does not work, then the problem is likely due to one of three things:

    1. A plugin on your website is causing a Javascript error on your admin side which is causing Site Reviews Javascript to break or not run. Or, you are using a badly written plugin which is incompatible with Site Reviews.
    2. Your WordPress Admin is being cached (it really shouldn’t be!). If it is, make sure to clear the cache after updating or installing plugins.
    3. You are accessing your WordPress Admin with a HTTP (insecure) instead of a HTTPS (secure) connection.

To determine if the problem is due to an incompatible plugin, please try the troubleshooting steps show on the Site Reviews Help & Support page.

Here you can see how the Approve/Unapprove links work.
And you can also Approve/Unapprove a review by editing it in the same way as you would publish/unpublish a Post or page)

I also just noticed that you sent an support request to the email address provided in the Contact Support section on the Site Reviews Help & Support page.

You did not post a support request on the WordPress forum, instead you sent a support email (which has the slowest response time unless it’s requested by me) on a Friday evening, and posted your 2-star review the following Sunday. You wrote on the weekend, and you also did not include the requested information when writing directly.

I feel it’s important to draw your attention to the notices on the Contact Support section:

Hi there, sorry I did not spot those parts. I have updated my review to reflect this.
