Breaking 1 column into 3

    Hey Thanks for the help.

    I’m working on a new site and trying tweak the design of the attached page. Idealy I’d like to have 3 columns. the first with the list of categories. the second with the search, and the third being the listings… OR if 2 columns the Search above the listings in the second column. Is this possible? I hate the way it look now.

    Yeah I’ve decided to use the ?Widget Pack?utilizing the?cMap?template with?SiteShot. template but it not working as I have hopped and I’m having trouble setting it up

    My directory categories is not diplaying the group of categories I add in the connections categories.

    I took a look and if I think I understand, it is displaying the sidebar. See the screenshot.

    The layout on your site does look like the cMap demo. I am sorry, is there something specific?

    Site shot is not working. Nearly all of my listings have a website. but All I see is No Image Available. example search for Amy’s Omelette House

    Open the cMap Template Customizer:

    Click the back arrow in the upper left of the Customizer.

    Click the Image panel.

    Choose the SiteShot Image Type.

    Important; click an entry name in the preview; any entry will do as it does not matter which.

    The preview will refresh with the entry detail/profile view of the template.

    Choose the SiteShot Image Type a second time.

    This needs to be done twice because both views of the template can be configured independently.

    Publish the change and exit the Customizer.

    You can do this some custom CSS. Add the following to the theme’s custom CSS area found in the Customizer.

    #cn-cmap .cn-entry-cmap-card h2 {
    font-size: 24px;
}

    RE: How can I have it display the logo if no website is available?

    To do this, you must set the Image Type options to the Logo image type. Then, you need to edit the [connections] shortcode to include the image_fallback shortcode option enabled by the cMap template. You would set this option to siteshot. Here’s an example shortcode:

    [connections image_fallback='siteshot']

    Note, you should edit the existing shortcode on your directory page; do not add the shortcode to the page multiple times. If you do, you will output multiple instances of the directory on the same page.
