styles within pages?

  • I assign pages to certain topics. I want my page to look similar to this.
    I want alternating colors for each link.
    I see how he assigned each section to his Stylesheet but he seems to be using HTML and tables.

    Is there a way to accomplish this in WP pages? Can I assign div class and div id on a page? If I were to duplicate this persons “Web Links” and I wanted the same alternating colors, how would I do that in WP?

  • have you tried the codex? I myself asked something similar, and have succeeded to some extent. It can be done but you just have to work for it. Search for pages in the codex and following the guides and there are extensive threads which cover styles in depth. You basically apply a style to a category and make a page belong to that category which should in theory style it. I haven’t done for pages myself but again.
