Change order of blogposts

  • I recently edited some old blogpost. Edited the tags for future tag based pages. I noticed this changed the order of the blog post. My post are ordered by “revision date” instead of “publication date”
    Please advise

    Hi there,

    Hard to say, perhaps some plugin(s) or Block is doing that?
    By default the WP loop uses the Publication Date, and most themes use that without any modifications including this one, perhaps there is a plugin or block settings somewhere? Even some code in a functions.php of a child theme (*), or perhaps those posts are featured now?

    (* or even the one from the theme itself but that shouldn’t be edited at all)
