Here is what I am experiencing. I open my browser and log into my site. I am redirected correctly (using the Redirection plugin – I have only one level -free). I close my browser (I have enabled the function to log me out upon closing the browser). Since I have another session of the browser running, turns out I am not logged out. Try to connect to the site again. Go to the login page which is the default website page. Where the login box should appear, I now have the box where I can see my member name, status, membership, a link to modify my profile and to log out. At this point, I have no other option but to click on Log out to get the login box.
    How can I solve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us.

?Since I have another session of the browser running, turns out I am not logged out.

Can you provide more information. I want to make sure I understand your issue correctly.

    Thank you.

Take a look at this video:
    https://www.screencast.com/t/zIroYM4w8

I have 2 instances of Edge open. Using the instance on the right, I go to the root of the website, get the login section I log in. Then I close the window. Using the other instance, I go to the root of my website. See how I don’t get the login section anymore? I get this membership details section and I need to log out to be able to login again. Now I am logged in on the left instance. Without closing it, I open another instance, go to the root of my website and again I don’t get the login section, nor am I redirected correctly.

Then in the last part of the video (after the black fadeout/fadein) I did another test, because I thought that whether I use another instance of the browser or another tab I would probably get the same result. So I just open another tab and go to the root of the web site and indeed get the same result.

I should either get the login screen or the redirection, but not that membership screen.

I use both the After Login Redirection and Full Page Protection plugins. I did disable them (and all my other plugins) to see if it made a difference. It didn’t.

I carried out the following instructions in my dev site and it works for me. Please carry out the same instructions as well. Let me know what happens to you.

    Thank you.

As mentioned in my original message, this option is already checked.

(I have enabled the function to log me out upon closing the browser)

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this issue in my dev site. Something in your site must be interfering with our plugin’s redirection process.

    Kind regards.
